Description

Cream cheese whipped with Dijon mustard, diced ham and sharp cheddar is dolloped onto crunchy crackers, then sprinkled with parsley for a creamy, zesty snack that pops with flavor at any gathering.

Ingredients

  • 60 pieces crackers
  • 200 grams cream cheese
  • 100 grams deli ham diced
  • 100 grams cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Arrange the crackers on a large serving platter.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, diced ham, shredded cheddar, chopped parsley, and Dijon mustard.
  3. Season the mixture with salt and black pepper and stir until well blended and smooth.
  4. Using a small spoon, spread about 1 teaspoon of the cheese mixture onto each cracker.
  5. Garnish the topped crackers with a sprinkle of extra parsley if desired and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Use softened cream cheese for easier mixing
  • Substitute ham with cooked bacon bits for a smoky flavor
  • Prepare the cheese mixture ahead and refrigerate for a firmer topping
  • Assemble just before serving to keep crackers crisp
