  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Remove cinnamon roll dough from tube and cut into bite sized pieces.
  2. In a shallow bowl whisk eggs milk vanilla extract and ground cinnamon until smooth.
  3. Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat and melt the butter.
  4. Dip each dough piece into the egg mixture coating all sides then place in the hot skillet.
  5. Cook 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Transfer bites to a serving plate then drizzle with maple syrup and dust with powdered sugar.

Notes

  • Make sure the skillet is at medium heat to avoid burning the outside while cooking the center
  • Serve immediately for the best warm and gooey texture

  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheat in a skillet or toaster oven
