Description

Bright watermelon puree mingles with zesty lime and cool mint, balanced by honey’s sweet kiss and a hint of coconut water. Each icy sip delivers a refreshing tropical breeze, perfect for sunny afternoons.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups watermelon cubes
  • 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 10 leaves fresh mint
  • 2 cups ice cubes
  • 4 sprigs fresh mint
  • 4 slices lime

Instructions

  1. Combine watermelon cubes and honey in a blender and blend until smooth.
  2. Strain the watermelon puree into a pitcher using a fine mesh sieve to remove pulp.
  3. Stir in fresh lime juice, coconut water, and water until well mixed.
  4. Add fresh mint leaves to the pitcher and gently muddle with a spoon to release flavor.
  5. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  6. Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled limeade over the ice.
  7. Garnish each glass with a sprig of fresh mint and a slice of lime before serving.

Notes

  • For a sparkling version replace half of the water with sparkling water.
  • Adjust the honey to taste or substitute with sugar or agave syrup.
  • Use seedless watermelon or remove seeds for a smoother drink.
  • Let the limeade chill longer for deeper mint and lime infusion.
