Ingredients
- 1 pound seedless green grapes
- 1 cup caramel chips
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 1/4 cup apple cider
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 pinch salt
Instructions
- Rinse grapes thoroughly and pat dry with a clean towel.
- In a small saucepan, combine caramel chips, heavy cream, apple cider, and salt.
- Heat over medium-low heat, stirring constantly until the caramel melts and the mixture is smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in fresh lemon juice.
- Allow the caramel mixture to cool for 2–3 minutes until it thickens slightly.
- Transfer grapes to a large bowl and pour the warm caramel over them.
- Gently toss the grapes to coat evenly in the caramel glaze.
- Spread the coated grapes on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Use completely dry grapes so the caramel adheres well.
- Adjust the thickness of the glaze by adding more cream if needed.
- For a sweeter apple note, swap apple cider for apple juice concentrate.
- Store any leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
