Description

Bright green leaves cradle sweet apple chunks and crunchy toasted walnuts, while creamy feta and a tangy lemon-honey dressing awaken your taste buds in every forkful.

Ingredients

  • 2 medium apples, cored and chopped
  • 4 cup mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, honey, salt, and pepper to make the dressing.
  2. Place mixed salad greens in a large bowl and add chopped apples.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to coat evenly.
  4. Sprinkle walnuts, crumbled feta cheese, and thinly sliced red onion on top.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Notes

  • For a crunchier texture, toast the walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes before adding.
  • You can replace feta cheese with goat cheese or blue cheese for a different flavor profile.
  • To prevent apples from browning, toss them in a little lemon juice before adding to the salad.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator and consume within one day.
