Description

Crispy bacon hugs sweet Medjool dates, concealing pockets of gooey brie. A warm drizzle of honey and a sprinkle of thyme add floral sweetness and earthiness, making each bite a luscious dance of textures.

Ingredients

  • 12 unit Medjool dates
  • 4 ounce Brie cheese
  • 6 slice Bacon
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh thyme leaves

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F.
  2. Slice each date lengthwise and remove the pit.
  3. Cut the Brie into small pieces and stuff one piece into each date.
  4. Wrap each stuffed date with a half slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick if needed.
  5. Place the wrapped dates in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes until the bacon is crispy.
  7. Drizzle the hot dates with honey and sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves.
  8. Remove toothpicks before serving and enjoy warm.

Notes

  • Make sure the dates are fully pitted to avoid any hard bits.
  • For a lighter version, substitute turkey bacon for regular bacon.
  • Serve immediately after cooking for the best texture and flavor.
  • Toothpicks help keep the bacon in place during air frying.
